Dr Steven Chu

This Morning I attended a lecture given by Dr Steven Chu US Secretary of Energy in the Helix at DCU.


Frankly the man is a genius. He won the Nobel Prize in 1997 for his revolutionary laser cooling technology used to analyse atoms and contributed to the invention of atomic clocks on which the functionality of all GPS devices depends. He also stressed the importance of alternative energy sources and clean fuels for the future.
